Le Jardin (The Garden) is an independent annexe to the main house. It is so named because its entrance leads directly onto its south facing terrace and to the naturist garden and pool area beyond.
When not in use as a self-catering apartment we use these rooms to provide bed and breakfast.
With 65 m2 including 2 bedrooms and bathrooms all on the ground floor, it is both spacious and suitable for those with reduced mobility.
Central heating provides an additional bit of comfort should early or late season evenings turn a bit chilly.
Living areas
The terrace and garden area immediately outside are south-facing and sheltered by tall hedges making them ideal for naturist sun-bathing.
There is a teak patio table and chairs, a BBQ on the terrace for those long warm summer evenings and easy access to the pool area where sun-loungers can be found.
The entrance leads to a hallway with an ancient oak floor and doors to each of the rooms. The spacious living room has leather arm chairs for relaxation and a large dining table. The modern flat-screen TV receives UK channels (BBC, ITV, Ch4 etc.) via satellite and non-subscription French terrestrial digital channels.
The kitchen area is comprehensively equipped and includes a gas hob, refrigerator with freezing compartment and a combined microwave and grill.
Bedrooms
The bedrooms are arranged either side of the hallway. Bedroom 1 is a double whilst Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds. Both are en-suite with their own toilets, washbasins and showers.
We provide all bedding and also bath and hand towels. Additional equipment includes a clothes airer, ironing board and iron. There is a radio/CD player but please bring your own CDs (our musical taste may not be to your liking!).
